What does this do?

If you need to re-sow a paddock or spread prilled fertiliser over a paddock, this electro-broadcaster could be the ideal solution. With a spread width of up to 24 metres, the EBC can quickly cover a lot of ground and you can choose the application rate you require, depending upon the task you’re doing. The EBC spreads the seed/prills evenly and quickly, saving huge amounts of time when compared with hand-sowing. It can also be a more cost-effective solution than a dedicated spreader

Why do I need one?

If you need to establish a new paddock or re-seed an area of bare paddock, the EBC is a great tool. It can spread herbicide granules (if you need to clear all vegetation from an area); fertiliser (for when you need to encourage grass growth/ restore nutrients); or grass seed. Producing healthy grazing from scratch can be a very time-consuming job, but it is worth putting the time in to make your paddocks as productive as possible (good grazing can cut down on feed bills quite considerably, particularly if your horse is not worked very hard).

The EBC can reduce that time hugely, giving you more time to spend with your horse and potentially minimising your feed bills. You’ve got to admit, it’s worth looking into...

Where do I use it?

Paddocks and fields. Never leave any implements out after use where animals can come into contact with them - you can work out why!

How does it work?

You fill the hopper with the seeds/prills you want; establish the spreading pattern you will need to use to cover the paddock evenly; start the EBC up and drive the pattern over the paddock. Job done. Watch the grass grow. Watch your horse enjoying the better grazing. Use the time you’ve saved to ride more (time your horse found out there’s no such thing as a free lunch!)
