This represents the best in harrow technology. The Super Harrow has special spring tines mounted on a frame. This ensures that the tines are kept in firm contact with the surface at all times, giving superior dead grass removal and soil scarifying action. Developed by EinbockTM (the Number One brand for agricultural harrows) this technology pioneered organic weeding and plant stimulation methods.
Super Harrows are also useful if you’re seeding a paddock: harrow thoroughly; sow the seed: roll the surface with a Ballast Roller to firm the seed into the soil.
The Super Harrow can be used on menages to quickly dress the top surface. The Super Harrow is excellent on all-weather gallops, quickly grading the surface ready for the next session.
In your paddock, using a Super Harrow will remove dead grass and scarify the soil surface, stimulating the growth of healthy new grass. Better grazing means happier horses! In your menage or on your all-weather gallop, the Super Harrow can be used to quickly dress the surface.
Primarily designed for paddocks but can also be used on menages and gallops.
The Super Harrow is hitched to any suitable vehicle (an ATV is ideal for low ground pressure use, but a 4x4 or small tractor can easily be used) then towed around the paddock, ensuring the whole surface of the paddock is covered both lengthways and crossways.
The Super Harrow frame incorporates a 12v electric ram, which means the implement can be raised and lowered easily. The tines are adjustable meaning that you can fine-tune the harrow to particular conditions in different paddocks and to do different jobs (e.g. simple harrowing through to re-grading gallops). A control box with all necessary wiring and plugs/socket is supplied.
