The new Logic MSP120 ‘Pro-Sweep’ has been developed from our hugely successful MSC sweeper. Since its introduction, Logic have sold thousands of sweeper-collectors, the main customer group being the equestrian sector where it is used to efficiently collect horse muck. If this is your interest, please go to the Equestrian sector - Pro-Sweep.
The Logic Pro-Sweep is a 4' (1.2metre) sweeping brush designed to sweep anything it comes into contact with into the hopper. It is ideal for any required sweeping task such as leaf, grass or acorn collection. Other less common applications include collecting cartridge wads and broken clay pigeons, clearing large areas of litter eg.open air agricultural shows or concerts. Finally, with the addition of a "mesh bottomed" hopper, many customers use this machine for the regular maintenance of Astro-turf sports pitches. All of these uses confirm that the Logic Pro-Sweep is a very versatile piece of equipment.
The Pro-Sweep fitted with a mesh-bottomed floor is the ideal machine for the regular maintenace of the level of the sand base on any Astro-turf surface. In addition to this important function the Pro-Sweep offers many other benefits such as constantly de-mossing the surface, collecting litter and general debris and in cases where the pitch is situated near a line of trees, collecting fallen leaves or pine needles.
The on-board engine drives a 4'(1.2metre) rotary brush which has 150mm long, stiff bristles. The Pro-Sweep has a simple height adjuster which is extremely easy to operate and setting the correct operating height takes just seconds. The Pro-Sweep then works as follows: the motor is started and set to run at a tick-over speed. The unit is trailed behind a suitable vehicle (ATV/UTV, 4x4, small tractor etc,) and driven across the area to be cleared. Increasing the Pro-Sweep’s engine revs (using the remote throttle cable) engages the sweeping brush, which neatly flicks the material to be collected into the hopper. Discharge of the hopper is via a manual winch pulling the hopper over 180 degrees.
