On Board Sprayer Range (OBS135S) de-icer

On Board Sprayer Range (OBS135S)

Spraying units of this type are ideal for specialist ice-melt liquids in sensitive areas where spreading de-icing products is not ideal, spreading Rock Salt would be too corrosive or where no messy residue is important, like hospitals, shops, airports, schools and railway stations etc.

Ice-melt liquids are super fast in operation for instant de-icing, have excellent adhesion to all surfaces and are fully soluble with no residue left behind. These liquids are usually more effective than Rock Salt at lower temperatures, even down to -30* C in some cases.

The OBS135S is sized to fit ATV or compact tractor type vehicles, where small size and weight are important for sensitive surfaces and tight manoeuvring.

The Logic 135litre on-board sprayer has been designed to fit onto the rear carrier rack of an ATV or similar mounting frame. Its rotational moulded tank and high quality pump are designed for use with de-icing liquids and are at the heart of this reliable spraying system. Fitting of the tank is very quick and straightforward using ‘T’ bolts supplied. The unit also comes with a complete wiring harness with in line fuse. The boom is height adjustable and has a break-back facility. All nozzles can be individually switched on and off. The kerb nozzle is very useful for spraying a pavement from the highway.

A handlance with up to 15metres of hose is available fitted on a hose reel or on a wrap around bracket. A 60 litre front tank can be added to either of the above models.

Super Harrow LSH

Super Harrow LSH

This represents the best in harrow technology. The Super Harrow has special spring tines mounted on a frame. This ensures that the tines are kept in firm contact with the surface at all times, giving superior dead grass removal and soil scarifying action. Developed by EinbockTM (the Number One brand for agricultural harrows) this technology pioneered organic weeding and plant stimulation methods. The 2.0m width gives good work rates and the tine settings are adjustable to cope with different conditions and for easy transport. A 12v electric ram lifts the tines from the ground, allowing trash to be easily cleared, rapid transport between sites and enabling the Super Harrow to be reversed into awkward corners.

The Logic Super Harrow has rows of spring tines mounted on a frame which can be towed behind any suitable vehicle, from an ATV to 4x4s or small tractors. The ATV option gives the Super Harrow excellent low ground pressure ability. The tine settings are adjustable and the frame is raised and lowered using a 12v ram. Construction benefits from Logic’s legendary strength and attention to detail.

Weed Wiper – Tractor Mounted CTM250

Weed Wiper - Tractor Mounted CTM250

These Contact 2000 models are designed for customers who prefer to use a tractor for weed wiping – the standard 2.5 metre wide unit utilises the tractor’s hydraulics and can be fitted to either the front or rear three point linkage or with the additional fitment of the universal hedge cutter interface bracket, an existing hydraulic power arm can be utilised. All tractor mounted models retain all the other unique and long established features and benefits of the Contact 2000 weed wiper system.

The brush is driven by the hydraulic motor which is easily adjusted using a simple flow valve, allowing the operator to set the optimum rotational speed. Positioning the control box in the cab close to the driver allows any adjustments to chemical flow rate to be carried out whilst on the move.

The three point linkage Interface bracket can be bolted facing front or rear depending on the required fitment to a tractor. The ability to set up the unit rear facing is beneficial when treating difficult slopes. Travelling in reverse is often a lot safer and this arrangement becomes ideal for tractor models with a bi-directional reverse drive facility.

The use of the Contact 2000 fitted to the hydraulic power arm of a hedge cutter opens up endless possibilities for weed wiping. Weeds can be controlled in otherwise out of reach areas such as roadside, waterside and railway embankments although the machine is equally at home carrying out regular weed wiping duties in everyday situations.

For any farming or contracting customers already owning a hedge cutter, this option gives access to a highly specialised machine with minimum outlay.

Weed Wiper – Tractor Mounted CTM600 (Grassland Application)

The Logic CTM600W Contact 2000 is the flagship of our tractor mounted weedwiper range and is the most advanced and efficient weed wiper (weed licker) system available. All CTM models have been designed for mounting on a tractor’s three point linkage whilst the chemical supply pump is powered by the tractor’s 12v electrics. The CTM600 has a 6 metre working width and a 270 litre on board chemical tank offering work rates of between 13 acres (5Ha) and 20 acres (8Ha) per hour, depending on forward speed and terrain.

The Logic CTM600W consists of a hydraulic function selector to move the outer brush units to the working position and to power the brush sections. During operation, the grassland model runs on its four wheels and floats over the ground when the hydraulics are put into “float” mode – this ensures the 6 metre boom follows the contours of the ground which is critical when working on rough or undulatiing ground. The two outer wings incorporate a resettable, hydraulic break-back facility to protect the machine against damage from unforeseen obstacles.

The unique, contra-rotating brush ensures that each weed plant is liberally coated with chemical, ensuring rapid and effective weed control while at the same time eliminating chemical wastage and leaving untargeted plants, such as valuable grass and clover or arable row crop, untouched. Huge chemical savings can be achieved using Contact 2000 compared with conventional blanket spraying along with other additional environmental benefits.

The 12v electric pump supplies the chemical at a controlled rate via the (in-cab) control unit ensuring the correct saturation of chemical on the brush, depending on weed density – the override button can be used at any point to supply extra chemical to the brush for treating more dense area of weeds. With the height set correctly to target just the weed plants which require treatment, the unit is simply switched on to start the brush rotating and the unit is moved across the area needing treatment. An optional bout marker is available to provide a visual indicator of the area covered.

The Contact 2000 system ensures effective measures can be taken against many common weed species (e.g. rush, bracken, thistle, dock, nettles, weed beet, blackgrass, fat hen and volunteer plants, etc).

Contact 2000 is suitable for use with many Environmental/Stewardship schemes.

Weed Wiper – Contact 2000 CTF

The Logic Contact 2000 range is the most advanced and efficient weed wiper (weed licker) system available. It has been designed to be towed behind an ATV or other suitable farm vehicle and the chemical supply pump is powered by the towing vehicle’s 12V electrics.

The 60 litre supply tank will carry sufficient chemical (20:1 water:chemical ratio) to treat a very large area, simply because only the targeted weeds come into contact with the chemicals. The work rate for a single 2.5m unit is between 4 and 7 acres per hour depending on terrain. A unique, contra-rotating brush ensures that each weed plant is liberally coated with chemical, ensuring rapid and effective weed control while at the same time eliminating chemical wastage and leaving untargeted plants such as valuable grass and clover untouched. Huge chemical savings can be achieved using Contact 2000 compared with conventional blanket spraying along with the added environmental benefits.

The Contact 2000 system ensures effective measures can be taken against many common weed species (e.g. rush, bracken, thistle, dock, nettles, etc)

Contact 2000 is suitable for use with many Environmental / Stewardship schemes and in addition meets the requirements for the Northern Ireland Farm Modernisation Programme (FMP) Quad/ATV weed wiper/lick F20 category

Product features

All Contact 2000 models consist of the trailed brush unit with an offset draw bar facility and the chemical control system. The units can be supplied with a dedicated drawbar mounted chemical supply tank or if the customer also requires an on board boom sprayer, one of the Logic On Board Sprayer Range can be used. The pump feeds the chemical at a controlled rate via the supplied control unit to ensure the correct saturation of chemical on the brush depending on the weed density. An override button can be used at any point to supply extra chemical to the brush to treat a more dense area of weeds. With the height set correctly to target just the weed plants which require treatment, the unit is simply switched on to start the brush rotating and the unit is towed across the area needing treatment. A bout marker is available to provide a visual indicator of the area covered, which is ground driven from the wheel of the Contact 2000.

Two or three gang units (5.0m and 7.5m widths) are available for covering up to 20 acres (8Ha) per hour, where higher work rates are required.
