An Exclusive Conversation with Mary King MBE

When we arranged to film with Mary King earlier this month, we had no idea it would become one of the most significant pieces of content we have ever produced. Days later, Mary announced her retirement from eventing — bringing to a close a career that has defined British equestrian sport for nearly five decades.

Mary's record speaks for itself. Six consecutive Olympic Games between 1992 and 2012. Team silver medals at Athens and London. A team bronze in Beijing. Two victories at Badminton Horse Trials and wins at so many more events. A career that began before many of her fans were born, and one that never once wavered in its dedication, grace, or love for the sport.
